Transport for NSW has now completed the Berowra Waters ferry ramp upgrade. The ramp has been repaired and rebuilt with pre-cast concrete panels, allowing pedestrians and road users to access ferry safely. GPM Marine Constructions employed Fine Form to construct pre-cast ferry ramps designed to be placed over the existing structures. Manufacturing the panels in our yard at Woolgoolga was vital to minimise disruption of Ferry operations at Berowra. Each panel required anti slip groves and rails cast in and was then freighted to Sydney via semi trailer.
